This camp is perfect for both beginner and experienced martial artists! Our program is just right for the summer; its a great combination of modern and traditional martial arts training along with some favorite games and entertainment. In addition to learning proper form, stunts and self-defense skills, we focus on improving self-discipline, goal setting skills, having a positive impact on others, improving emotional control and developing attitudes for success. Campers will receive excellent training in Sport Karate/Tae Kwon Do and Boxing/Kickboxing, but this camp also emphasizes personal development and mental training, the most important parts of martial arts.
Basic activities include:
• Sport Karate/Tae Kwon Do Training
(Become a regional or even a national champion one day!)
• Daily swimming and shallow end drills at East Gate Swim and Tennis Club
• Stage combat & basic stunts (Power Rangers and other actors learn these skills.)
• Boxing/Kickboxing (effective self-defense skills)
• View and analyze video & movie clips from martial arts events
• Self-Improvement Skills
Bring:
Water bottle, swim suit, towel, sun screen. Optional: Positive Impact Uniform, Hand and Foot Gear (Campers purchasing the optional equipment package will also receive a coupon for 1 Free Month of Classes at our nearby studio).

Director:
Master Greg Maye, the owner, director and head instructor of Positive Impact Martial Arts, is a 6th Degree Blackbelt and Certified Master Instructor. He is a
NASKA Heavyweight World Champion, the National Blackbelt Leagues National Champion, a North American Sport Karate Associations #2 Middleweight and a member of the three-time World Champion DKT Force One National Karate Team. In addition, Mstr. Mayes trained 4 national martial arts champions and a Golden Glove boxing champion. He was an actor in the leading and principal roles of two martial arts movies, as well as the Mayday character of the arcade game, The Untouchables. Hes served as the Senior Instructor for the Jhoon Rhee Institute of Tae Kwon Do (chain of studios), Washington, D.C. He is the founder and director of the Positive Impact Demonstration Team, a non-profit team that supports charitable events and organizations through martial arts shows. All of the instructors are professionals who offer the highest quality of instruction.
